    Summary of Professional Experience

Angela has enjoyed being a registered practical nurse for many years in various area of nursing working across Canada, including the Arctic.  Her nursing career had introduced her to the benefits of massage therapy which led Angie to continue her ongoing health education to become a registered massage therapist.  Angie specializes in Swedish and therapeutic massage, joint mobilization, lymphatic drainage and sports massage.

Orthopedic massage is a type of massage therapy which is focused on treating painful conditions which affect the soft tissues of the body.  Angela specializes in this type of massage for upper body and neck to release tight muscles, helping to stretch shortened muscles and tendons.  The goal is to normalize the soft tissue to help keep her client's healthy and fit, modifying the massage to suit her client.

Angie has cared for many people during her nursing career and her new career, from newborns to the elderly.

When Angie is not caring for her clients, she is very much devoted to her family.
