Naturopathic medicine addresses the root cause of illness and promotes health and healing using natural therapies. Naturopathic doctors have 8 years of training with 4 years of pre-medical studies at a university and 4 years at an accredited college of Naturopathic Medicine . After graduating the college, a North American board exam must be passed to obtain a licence to practice. Naturopathic Doctors must be regulated with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy.
